Elemental Pulse

by Nan Huang, Xinni Lin, Hao Sun

In primitive art, totems, music, and dance are used by people to sense the flow of natural energy. These spiritual powers that carry prayers form beliefs.
We selected three elements: wood, fire, and water to show their respective life forms and powers. The three elements cycle back and forth to symbolize the cycle of life. We visualize them and experience people's praise of life and exploration of inner spiritual power in totem worship, fertility worship, animal and plant worship through physical interaction, and dance rituals.
