Office Hours

Nature operates in cycles, and despite considering ourselves the best of its creations, there exists a probability that we may become extinct, leaving behind only the systems we have devised to sustain our society—some of which may appear ridiculous from an alternative perspective.

Our goal is to enable the spectator to see the world we live in from a different perspective. We've envisioned a post-apocalyptic world where nature has reclaimed spaces once dominated by humans. Mice, due to their genetic similarity, have long been used for experiments, leading to the popularization of the term "lab rat" in everyday language, symbolizing a person or thing utilized as a subject for experimentation. The current working conditions of today, such as spending 8 hours in a small cubicle, may appear peculiar from an alternative viewpoint.

Our aim is to construct an imaginary world where humans have vanished and the environments we've constructed are being reclaimed by nature. The user will experience this world through the eyes of one of these lab rats that survived despite being
considered inferior, prompting us to question what currently appears normal.

We utilized a VR headset so that, through technology, we could inhabit a different being and pose critical questions about our daily lifestyles.
